PROJECTS: RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS: Air Park Residence

Located adjacent to a small airport the design of this residence is focused around the experience of flight. Detailed exterior lighting, patio surfaces,steps,fire pits and water elements define the outdoor rooms.Water plays a major role in cooling the south facing outdoor rooms. The outdoor rooms form a series of private courtyards, pools and dinning terraces. Long views were preserved while walkways, and sight lines from inside the house guide the visitor across the wide open prairie. Broad plantings of native grass and evergreens define the simplistic outer landscape tying into the regional prairie landscape.
