PROJECTS: RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS: Mid Century Modern

This Mid Century house and property was renovated to accommodate the lifestyle of a young family. A series of subtle terraces create various outdoor rooms and gently guide visitors to each space. The Modern architecture of the house is carried into the outdoor rooms by using a mix of wood, concrete, and steel. Plantings soften the edges, create texture and define the experience of each outdoor space. Outdoor lighting is placed in key areas to provide an inviting atmosphere and to extend the architecture of the house into the exterior spaces.
